Q: WHAT MAKES YOUR WORK DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS’ WORK?
A: I love to capture you at your most natural! we will do fun things as well as some "looking at the camera" photos all in a calm, unhurried way. the majority all of our photo sessions take place in relaxed, outdoor settings using natural light as often as possible. The sessions are candid & fun!
Q: WILL WE GET THE PRINT RELEASE TO OUR PHOTOS AFTER OUR WEDDING?
A: upon receiving your wedding images (APPROXIMATELY 3 weeks from wedding day!) you will also get a full print release. Portrait sessions do not include the digital images but they are an optional purchase.
Q: HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL BE THERE AT OUR WEDDING?
A: that depends on which collection you choose. i typically bring an assistant to most weddings who also shoots. We can discuss any needs you may have and whether having two full shooters would be a right fit for your day.
Q: WILL WE GET FEATURED IN A MAGAZINE OR BLOG?
A: although many of our sessions do get featured, this is not something that is guaranteed. most publishers are interested in detailed, uniquely designed weddings so it depends on what they are looking for at the time of your wedding!
Q: DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH ELOPEMENTS?
A: of course! depending on availability and the number of hours you have set aside for photography, we have special rates for weekday weddings and elopements.
Q: DO YOU HAVE A LIST OF PREFERRED VENDORS TO USE?
A: i sure do! from wedding coordinators to florists and caterers, we have worked with some of the best companies in the industry and would be happy to share their information with you!
Q: WE’RE HAVING A DESTINATION WEDDING. DO YOU TRAVEL?
A: yes! I love destination weddings. send me more information on your travel plans, and i will create a custom wedding collection to suit your needs.
Q: DO I HAVE TO ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?
A: we highly recommend ordering prints through our professional vendors, but it is not required. the difference in quality is huge when it comes to ordering through a professional lab, so we encourage clients to let us help with prints!
Q: WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
A: i use all of the latest nikon equipment with many different lenses. we always bring backup cameras and flashes in the rare event that anything should happen to one of our pieces.
Q: ARE THE COUPLES ON YOUR SITE MODELS?
A: haha! while we are lucky enough to work with gorgeous couples and families, the images shown on our site and blog are of real people that have become clients.
Q: HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR WEDDING or session DATE?
A: a $700. deposit and signed contract is required in order to get your wedding day on the calendar. one month prior to your wedding, the remainder of the balance is due. For portrait sessions the $150. sitting fee is due at the time of booking.
